Fall is the favorite season of many, especially for those in North Carolina who want some relief from the hot and humid elements. Have With the transition in seasons, the leaves are changing colors, temperatures are dropping, and new types of pests are moving into Charlotte, NC homes. This season, it’s time for you to take charge against some of the most common types of pests that are found in the fall.

1.Cockroaches: These insects move into homes during the transition of summer to fall to get out of the cold. They are usually found in attics or basements, but can basically be found in any room of your home that’s dark or dimly lit.

2.Lady Beetles: These insects become active in the fall and try to seek shelter in homes where they can stain your clothes and other fabrics. They can multiply rather quickly, so it’s best to call an exterminator before they do!

3.Stink Bugs: You might see them in the summertime, but they’re most often found in the fall when they come out in full force. They’ll try to hide inside your home, in your personal belongings, or even your car where it’s warmer.

4.Ants: Certain types of ants such as sugar ants can be found all summer and fall long. They keep up with the changing weather conditions, when the warmer weather transitions to cooler temperatures.

5.Crane Flies: These large, yet completely harmless insects resemble that of a daddy longlegs- except they fly! These are commonly found on the outside of homes or cars and can make their way inside your home.
